Building Effective Teams

None of us is as smart as all of us.–Ken Blanchard

Individual commitment to a group effort – that’s what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.– Vince Lombardi

Core4 has been used in hundreds of organizations, both profit and not-for-profit. Its principles are:

Accountability: clarity and agreement

People need to know what their job is and how their performance is measured. They must understand their individual work-related goals and have a voice in helping set these goals.

Engagement: authentic relationships

Leaders listen to, coach, and mentor their people. Team members report on results, propose solutions, and plan for the future.

Collaboration: high functioning teams

Strong relationships build a sense of belonging within an organization. A team that works together can harness the power and creativity of collaboration.

Empowerment: a voice in decision-making

Energetic participation delivers more effective decisions and stronger buy-in.

After interviewing top leaders and carefully noting the organization’s needs, we craft a custom engagement that is built on Core4 principles featured in highly-interactive sessions over a period of four to twelve months.   Core4 uses your organization’s real work and real issues and opportunities in session “exercises.”  Between sessions, we observe team and one-to-one meetings to provide coaching for skills development as well as provide individual coaching with each leadership team member throughout the engagement.

One Central Pennsylvania CEO said, I believe with Core4 fully implemented throughout our company for the last several years, it has positively impacted our sales and relationships with our stakeholders. We are outperforming our peers by a long shot at the top and bottom line.
